Get your funk on and roll up to the Squircle for March’s First Friday-free music, art and fun- all ages, all welcome!

Friday 2 March, 6-8pm, Featherston Town Square

We have fabulous band Funk Force 5 playing some epic funky grooves.

Plus, we were rained off in January, but this is too good not to do- we invite you to help us funk up the Squircle with our Chalk Challenge: rollers, paintbrushes and liquid chalk provided, let’s paint the town red, and pink, and blue and…

brick path coloured in with sidewalk chalk

Coming over to the Wairarapa for the Martinborough Fair? Stop in Featherston First- everyone’s invited to our party.

Bring a picnic, and your dancin’ shoes. You may like to wear older clothes for the chalk challenge (using washable pavement chalk).

There’s Giant Jenga and other games… and a free BBQ thanks to Erin at Property Brokers. We’re delighted the Cross Creek Railway Society will be running their Mini Train rides during each First Friday event, at Clifford Square. Just $2 a ride with under 5s free – toot toot!

(wet weather venue, Featherston School- keep up to date here)
